This assignment tasked me with writing a short proposal attempting to persuade the reader to take some form of action. The topic I chose was about a local concern that interested me and was crafted as a planning proposal—attempting to offer a solution or suggestion for improvement. It contains many of the necessary components expected of a proposal. Additionally included is the Audience & Use Profile sheets I was taught to create when creating technical documents of any kind. Writing the proposal was done in Microsoft Word, required research for accuracy, and utilized APA citation format.
